Entry #10 Ultimate Halloween Watch list

As the month of October begins the spooky season is definitely in full effect. October is the time of cozying up and staying up late to watch your favorite scary movies. The array of Halloween movies out there can be pretty overwhelming but here are the top 5 movies that should be on your watch list.

1. Hocus Pocus- This is probably one of the best Halloween movies out there and it is definitely one of my favorites. This movie is set in Salem during the witch trials sisters Winifred, Mary, and Sarah Sanderson are on the hunt for children to take their lives to become young and beautiful. This film will definitely get you into the Halloween spirit!

2. Halloween- Arguably one of the best slasher movies all-time Halloween takes place in Haddonfield Illinois. Years after brutally killing his own sister, Michael Myers escapes from the insane asylum and comes back to Haddonfield to look for his next victims.

3. Scream- Another one of my favorite slasher movies Scream takes place in Woodboro California. As a crazed serial killer runs loose teen Sydney Cambell and her friends must fight for their lives in this Halloween classic.




4. The Nightmare Before Christmas- Now some might say that this movie is considered a Christmas movie and not Halloween but I do not care because I will watch it during both seasons! In this Tim Burton classic, the pumpkin king Jack Skellington wanders out of Halloweentown and goes through the Christmas Town door. After seeing the magic of Christmas Jack insists on bringing the spirit of Christmas to Halloweentown. One of my all-time favorite movies you can't go wrong with a little Tim Burton magic!


5. Friday The 13th- Another beloved slasher movie Friday The 13th takes place at Camp CrystalLake. Five camp counselors are scared for their lives as a brutal killer stalks their every move.
